Have had my 01 Boxster since Feb06 and I do love that car but damn, everytime I turn around theres something going on with it. So far, the airbag light stays on constantly...I know the fix for that. $$

Nope,just buy a Durametric kit,it can be used for alot more then turning off airbag lights as well.

Then sometime last summer I had a problem getting the car started....key in, clutch down turn key and nothing....actually happend a couple of times.

You may want to switch ignition switches,only a couple of hours or work and $20 for the part off of eBay(it's a VW/Audi part). Your other electrical problems may be related to it as well,any electrical stuff acts funky when the switch is going bad.

Guess I'll take the car the shop and see how much they're gonna rob for the diagnosis and fix.
No don't do that,sounds like alot of the issues you have a easy D.I.Y. fixes.
