I'm curious too....
My plastic window cracked in two places on me a few days ago. *$(#)*&!!!!!
My car's PO didn't take very good care of it. Had the hazy strip down the middle... lots of swirls and a few kinks.
Called one shop locally, he said $485 to replace the plastic window. Waiting on a reply from another shop. I'm going to inquire about a new top with a glass window, as I think both shops offer it. If $485 is a significant savings, I may try to get another couple years out of my current top.
