Been thinking about the Garage door opener mod and came across this:

Anybody try this or have any thoughts on the idea?
Pros:
1. seems cheaper (time/material) than the other mod
2. No need to change battery
Cons:
1. Might have to add one to wifes car to operate garage door (not known for sure)
