Hi,

The X69 Option - Tonneau Cover, is perhaps the least ordered of all the Factory options. One of the reasons for this is that the Cover secures with traditional Tenax Fasteners and to accomplish this, you must drill 7 holes, 4 in the sheetmetal and 3 in the Vinyl Dash. The Tonneau is made of the same fabric material as the Convertible Top.

It is mostly for a Retro look because it's not really practical - takes about 4 min. to install completely, half that to button/unbutton the driver side. It is waterproof, but with a long vinyl zipper, I wouldn't wanna test the theory.

In addition, you lose the use of the Center Windstop, though the mesh side Windstops can remain in place. Hope this helps...
