Crawling over my Boxster, I have spotted a broken piece on the forward-most throttle body tube. It looks as though a plastic "button" is missing from the top. The part has the code 5.02704.0 but seems to correspond to "99611013002 Intake manifold air tube with vacuum unit. Porsche 986 Boxster / 987 Boxster" on a parts diagram.
I would appreciate your thoughts on whether this is a problem and if there are any diagnotic tests I should try.
