I would say: go with the top your installer recommends because both are good tops and you want to go with what your installer has used before. (that assumes he's experienced with that top and Boxsters.

You really don't want to hear any "excuses" from your installer why his final work wasn't "perfect" so go with what he recommends......or find an experienced installer who has.
