Thanks! That worked perfectly on my 2001 Boxster S. I had done this before, but did not have the alarm. I had to put the key in the door after the alarm sounded and turn it counter clockwise. The alarm turned off, and then I was able to pop the frunk.

Pretty sure my voltage regulator died and took out my battery, which I found leaking battery acid. What a mess. Clean it up as best I could with a solution of baking soda. Ordering a voltage regulator.
