56k miles for a 24 year old car means nothing.
Age made dent on its own.
All rubber bushings in suspension might be worn due to age, not mileage.
If struts are OK, boots might not be.

Engine - hard to say... how often was it driven? Oil changes? If every 10k miles than it means every 4 years an oil change??
