Thanks to your tip, I got the trunk open. My cable is broken, so I have to replace it. It will be here from Pelicans in less than a week.
My question is similar to yours. - where is the “receiver thingie” that gets the signal from the key fob?
Also, I found videos for replacing the cable. I’ll post a link here with the best one(s).
