Like FO FO JOE wrote.......not only remove the carpet in the trunk BUT ALSO lift up all of the trunk raised floorboards too. In my case, the carpets were bone dry but the metal floor under the raised flooring was holding coolant pools and signs of coolant stains. My coolant tank developed spider cracks that would only leak when the system was hot and became pressurized.

Replaced the 20 year old plastic tank with a new Porsche tank....the cheaper aftermarket ones don't work very well (I was advised).
