Internal combustion "affordable" sports cars like the Boxster will demand a premium for a long time because of this in my opinion. I'm not against EV's, and maybe I'm a dinosaur, but no EV compares to a purring engine and a manual transmission. And installing speakers that play fake engine noises doesn't count.
