The LE rear tires were getting thin - approx 2/32. The fronts had plenty of tread left but all 4 tires have 2016 dates, so it didn't make sense to just replace the rears with old tires still on the front. So I looked for tire deals and found some Yokohama Advans on a Black Friday deal at Discount Tires back in Nov. Bought all 4 and put them in the basement, waiting to have them mounted when the weather got better. Drove another mo on the old tires, then put the snows on around Christmas (latest I've ever gone). This wk the weather is in the 60s & 70s, with seasonal or better temps for the next 10 days. So I had the new tires mounted and now have to decide if I should put them on or wait a bit longer. I have Advans on my CSS and really like them. But a new set of 19" tires for $970 out the door. Pretty good.
