When you had it at the dealer, did they check timing? Having going through something somewhat similar with misfires, timing is important.
When you did the head, did you replace the cam actuator and/or pads?
Which plugs & coils are you using?
What are you using to read the codes? Some readers wont pull pending codes, only set codes.
Just curious, what are you doing to the car to need a replacement engine and then that replacement crack it's head?
