Not sure why your engine doesn't stop when you turn the key to "OFF".....BUT IF YOU MEAN the radio stays on until you pull the key out of the slot.........then.........all is normal and that's how the system works. There's an electrical part in the switch mechanism that will shut off the radio when the key is removed from the slot.
Your system is working as designed. (If the radio doesn't shut off after the key is pulled out...THEN....you have an issue)
