Quickjack question
I have two questions if anyone can assist.
I just bought the 5k lb jack and set it all up.
Reading the manual page by page, after filling the reservoir it talks about bleeding the hydraulic cylinders. The manual I have says lift it and use the blocks and the online manual says to lift it straight up all the way with the wheels up as this pushes the air to the bleed screw.
My question is, it says to loosen the bleeder screw 3/4 of a turn so the air can escape. BUT it hasn't been powered on yet and there's no pressure in the system. It's bled when there's no more air. Wouldn't I have to power it first to push all the air through the hoses, then bleed?
And the 2nd question, when I was filling the reservoir I saw a tiny piece of paper go into the reservoir. I guess from the wet sealing cover that came off in pieces and I guess one piece fell in to the quart bottle.
I Googled and only thing I saw was a photo of the reservoir removed that the guy had an issue. I saw there's a large screen in the reservoir, should I not worry about it and let that tiny piece of seal float around in the reservoir cause the filter should stop it.
Or since it's brand new and not run yet, should I take the reservoir off and drain the fluid with a filter and get the little piece out.
