New member with 2002 Boxster in the garage
Good evening everyone. Recently purchased an ‘02 Boxster after getting my Chrysler 300 totaled when I was hit broadside in a parking lot. (The groceries did not hold up well.) I’ve been watching the market closely for some time and after the wreck, my wife and I went from dreaming to owning. Our silver jewel came with 30,500 miles, a new IMS bearing, clutch, flywheel, RMS, rebuilt gearbox and new tires - thanks to the previous owner. Spent the first couple weeks cleaning, polishing, getting proper tags and learning our way around our five speed. Now, all we need is some sunshine, a little premium gas and my Sprint (now T-Mobil) phone to get a good signal for my navigation app to kick in. We’ve had our Pfizer shots so nothing should hold us back. I’ll be relying on everyone’s experience to make our ownership and tons of questions a more pleasurable experience.
