I understand what you are saying...when I stripped the engine it was obvious that someone else : not Porsche : had been inside the engine...rtv etc. so my guess is they have cobbled an engine together : parts from different engines : after a previous engine failure... just to sell the car...I will take a photo so you can tell me if what I have is OK.
