Its not easy to remove the boxster emblem at all, its got this high quality foam with doublesided adhesive on it. You'll basically have to break off the emblem in peices, then there will be the foam adhesive stuck, to remove it, i just rubbed it off really really really hard with my thumb. There might still be some remnence of the adhesive stuck on the trunk after you removed the foam... I used Meguires Polish to even out the color and remove the remaining adhesive. after 1 minute of polishing by hand you couldnt tell an emblem was even there.
http://www.bumperplugs.com/ is where i bought my emblem from, They already have the proper adhesive backing on them, And they are already slanted the correct angle that they need to be, just try your hardest to lay them perfectly level and in or around the same spot as the Boxster emblem.
Use a Tape Measurer. It helps abit.
BTW its not a sticker, its a satin black plastic emblem just like the OEM boxster emblem.
