Hi all,
I'm looking to upgrade the stock wheels on my 986 to something a little more beefier. Considering the stock dimensions:
Front: 16x6, 50mm offset
Rear: 17x7, 55mm offset
I found a pair of beautiful wheels (which were originally made for a bmw) that I'd like to put on my 986. I've heard of people having no issues with stock suspension with 19x10in wheels, but my concern comes with the additional +19mm adapter.
Upgraded wheels:
Front (5x120) : 19x8.5, 35mm offset + 19mm adapter conversion
Rear (5x120) : 19x10, 40mm offset + 19mm adapter conversion
These were the slimmest I could find:

So... will the wheels + adapters fit? The stock setup seems to be really generous with their offset and initial wheel width, I'm concerned about adding almost 3 inches of "wheel" and with less offset might cause them to rub the fender, or look too fat (I'm trying to be flush with the fenders, but a little sticking out is fine). This thread here seemed pretty promising:

I'm pretty new to this wheel stuff so go easy on me
Any advice?
