By removing the screen, you can access the reservoir with a turkey baster and remove the old fluid. Replace with new fluid. Then all you have to bleed is the fluid in the lines.

IIRC, when I flushed my fluid I was wondering why that part didn't just lift out and... with the baster I didn't remove much.
