I just looked at this thread again and see that the OP is Indiana.
So I see way it is stored for the winter.
One thing you could do is flush and change the brake fluid.
Brake fluid is Hydroscopic.
So if it is 15 years old it most likely has a high water content.
Not good for the brake system.
