If you have the space and the time, you might consider tearing it down. You can see whether it can be easily salvaged assuming, of course, that you can do it yourself. If it were a 3.2 it would be worth putting some effort and money into it but I wouldn’t imagine that there’s a lot of call for a 2.5.
