That car looks familiar. Wasn’t it on the local Craigslist for $3,000?
I tried to contact out of curiosity a few weeks ago, but there was no contact info on the ad. Interested to see how a high mile sub-$3,000 986 does, so I’ll be looking for updates. ;D

PS: hopefully the top is something as simple as a hand brake switch.
