Cleared CEL and monitors. Finally passed smog today. :dance:
Found a post here to check the oil cap so I rechecked my oil cap and found small cracks in the o-ring, my fuel cap also had some small cracks as well. Since I was online, I ordered new ones and installed. Low and behold, the car runs great with no CEL for about 200 miles. All monitors were clear and it passed the smog with no problems. Now I can get my tags and be legal again.
Not sure if I got lucky or if the small cracks in the o-rings may have contributed to vacuum leaks in the crankcase. I’m just relieved that the smog passed and I just need to wait for the tags in the mail.
