I wanted to get more GT ish. I felt with the Boxster, it just says drive fast when ever a curve presents itself. I was either going to kill myself, someone else, get a ticket or get frustrated not pushing it. I tend to do a lot of highway driving so thought it might be a better fit. Plus I've had for over 4 years. Thought I would mix it up. I think the hardtop might help my sanity with road noise too.

About car: Car had an excellent PPI, has a scratch I need to tough up and I'm doing the IMS on Monday. I wasn't going to bother but it seems like a good candidate. The last owner was a 83 year old guy who bought in 2006 and only put 13k on it during that time. Previous owner racked up 55k in 4 years. Funny, the guy left to his daughter. The daughter husband wanted to keep it and she gave that the big "no".
Wish me luck.

checkout 996outpost.com for a fun forum on 996's. Rennlist has one, but not near as fun. A lot of us on outp[ost used to be regulars on RL
