No stupid questions, only stupid answers. Sorry for your troubles, moving is a b*tch enough without something like this.

Worst case, a Dealer should be able to fix you up immediately with a new key (suggest a spare also - ), but it won't be cheap.

Costs vary and I've seen $200-$290 for the cutting and programming of a key, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. You can try to shop around, but I believe thay will need the car (possible towing charge) to plug the PST2 Tester in to do the actual programming so this may limit your ability to shop around.
