*UPDATE* the shop had my car for the week and did the flush and fill on the transmission fluid using the Porsche approved fluid. They said they found an odd blue fluid in there that wasn't the correct viscosity and wasn't allowing the gears to spin correctly. After road testing it multiple times their diagnosis is that the new fluid helped the shifter feel, but that it's in need of a new transmission. Not at all what I wanted to hear so now I'm contemplating my next steps.
