It's not the file size - I've also been having this problem for the last week. I've tried everything as well - It appears to be some sort of glitch....

It's also not necessary to have to host the picture. Using the manage attachments, you can browse on your computer and upload them that way if you want them to be visible. Otherwise, if you just want to link to a picture, then you will need to host it.

Regardless - uploading doesn't appear to be working right now.
