Install for a regular mirror is a matter of turning the mount 90 degrees and it comes on, the revere to re-attach. I assuce the dimming mirror is similar, I'll pull the TSB on installing the mirror and see what it says.
I think it will all come down to how the mirror dims, it seems it is a physical change, it could be a gas, a gel or some kind of photochromatic layer, who knows. If you are game I'd recomment you try taking your mirror apart to take a look before investing in a second one. If money isn't much of a concern I can always take one (of yours!) apart.
So in short, sure, I'll give it a go. No promises, we'll just have to see how it goes. The process may take a while, I have travel planned on and off over the next three weeks but I will be in constant contact.
How does that sound?
Chris.
