To answer your question generally, if you want the best wear then you're going to have to sacrifice performance and go with an all season. These cars eat tires and brakes for breakfast. Rears will obviously wear faster.

Summer perf. tires you will have to re-calibrate your basis of longevity.
I think in terms of 20-22k miles for the rear for a decent summer perf. tire
They will wear out on the inside first
