Yep, that would kill the deal for me
I would love to try a 996 but I’ve read too many threads about how they miss their 986’s. In fact, when I bought my 2001 S 5 years ago, I had set out to buy a 996 but then I started seeing more and more god stories about the 986 and it’s drivability and so here I am. I would say like the others, if you can keep both, go for it. If it turns out you don’t like it, I doubt you would lose much. Good luck in your decision
