JB, extend it till you reach the upper edge/dent and let's see if that does it.
I am pretty sure it is either they way you have it now (frunk gap) OR the upper edge.
(that'll keep the flow and adds smothness). That will be the plan for my stripes and I tested a lot before coming to that conclusion.
Above pics show wrappings of the lower spoiler/lip, which is TOO much IMO.
But they are good examples for a long hood design.
