When you click edit, you should see an [IMG] tag around the photos. Simply delete the tags and the URL between them that link to the photo, and re-upload the image. I normally change the size of photos to be around 800-600 pixels before I upload them to this site. You can then go to User CP > Misc. > Attachments to delete the old photos.
