Yeah, they’re done. Had mine replaced a couple of years back; under $400 if I remember.
I could have done it at home, but I would have had to buy $100 worth of tools I didn’t own plus the parts and spend a whole weekend getting totally filthy and greasy. Didn’t appeal to me at all.
Dropped the car off at 7:30 a.m. and my indie had it done before noon.
