Have not seen comparos you request but from seat of pants operating, Akebono (Euro, Ceram-act or whatever) pads indeed feel to have a bit little less initial bite (this is from a number of different vehicles: Porsche, BMW and Lexus).

That said, the inordinate amount of time I've saved cleaning excessive brake dust from said vehicles has allowed me to leave much much sooner under all circumstances. In turn this allows me to leave more than sufficient stopping distances in all types of traffic; light, medium and heavy j/k

Seriously though, a bit difference in initial bite but truly no discernible stopping differences all-in-all. On cars I track (P-cars especially) I typically use PFC pads which are overkill (and can squawk a bit) in street applications.
