You know that your light switch has two positions to the left of off and two positions to the right of off.

The two left positions are “city lights” and illuminate front park and tail on one side only.

Of course the two to the right are both parks and both tails and the next click is headlights.

Just about every 986 has required a new headlight switch or will shortly, as they appear to have a limited life!
