DIY is fun!!! So many things to do even for the complete noob. One of my favorite and the one I recommend most is Macrame. Takes a while but once you've mastered the technique, you can then slowly upgrade a little and move onto some slightly more complex things like gardening, cooking, browsing the Internet... stuff like that
