Leather repair

I only treated the areas that were bad. In my case, those were the upper and lower bolsters. Regarding the cracks along the perforations, there are kits which include material you can insert under the leather and glue the leather on top which will strengthen the area. You can then fill in the cracks with filler, sand and then apply the dye. To retain the perforations, you may want to buy a box of wooden tooth picks and insert them into the perforations before applying filler. Take your time and I am sure you will like the results. Good luck.
