Looks like you have a motor oil, or transmission fluid leak. That stuff is hard on rubber when you let it baste and marinade in the oil for a long time - the rubber will degrade, swell, and you will have more rubber parts fail.
thanks Jake! no idea how you found the part, I couldnt find it separately.

there was some tranny oil that I cleaned up so I can see where the leak is coming from. leak is minimal, oil level didnt change in months. I think it might be spilling a bit around the seal where the shaft goes into the tranny. I bought that seal but have to figure out if that's where the leak is coming from first.
