You get used to it. I drive my cars which are RHD In Europe most which is LHD. We drive on the left and they drive on the right. Sometimes I go to Europe and hire a car and it will be LHD and you quickly get adjusted to that too.
As for hilly curves and no shoulder those are the sorts of roads that most car enthusiasts love here in UK and Europe! The tour pic you see above, there will be hundreds of those both paid for and organised or done with just friends to various locations around Europe but especially amongst the Alps and Pyrennees where you then have hiily curves with no shoulder but several hundred feet up sometimes with armco sometimes without.
