FWIW, I'll prob get flamed, but I've been using Mobil 1 0W-40 for 16 yrs in my Boxster...usually 2 yrs between changes (per original factory recommendations, since I never hit the mileage limit). Just changed oil last month again, and no metal particles that I could see in the filter. Original IMS at 73K miles. I have no complaints for this oil.
