Nope,I didnt take the rear wheels off. I just used the emergency jack to get the car high enough to get a real jack under the car and did it that way(with a jack stand incase of an emergency). Im 5 8 and 148 pounds so I can fit under the car no problem. If I couldnt fit then I would have had to take the wheels off and try it that way.
