I believe the tube in JFP's photo connects to the Manometer. You are measuring suction pressure at the oil fill cap.
If you read the above posts, which includes the original post, I would hope my post would be clear.

I'm referring to the tube where the AOS enters the crankcase, as discussed by the OP.
