For me, a two-seat roadster was something I'd always wanted. I've owned a few lesser models over the years, the most notable of which was a Miata, (meh...), but none of them were what I'd consider a smile-provoking sports car. When I found my Boxster, it spoke to me, and reeled me in like a fish on a line. There has been no looking back. I have a relationship with this car somewhere well past "like" and just short of "needing therapy."

As to the Porsche brand, while I like the idea of them, and appreciate their looks, I'm not in a mad rush to own more of them. Maybe someday, but for now, this one is just fine, thanks.

I also own a BMW 335 and a Ford SUV as daily drivers, so the Porsche gets the attention it deserves when I have time to really appreciate every inch of its remarkable frame.

So the poll is limited. I did my best.

Dave
