Hi,

There really aren't any ignition wires per se, just the wiring harness to each individual coil pack. But, you don't really want to fool with the OEM wires or swap them out for Hotter Aftermarket items.

This is because the DME is tuned to, and monitors, the resistance in the stock wires and will deviate if it senses a change. It may swap fuel Maps or alter Spark Duration or Voltage. These changes may well be invisible to the Driver, but MPG, Performance or the longevity of the Exhaust/Emissions systems, maybe even the Valve Train, could be adversely affected over time.
