I guess your offer wasn't their "best offer".
They generally take 75% of asking price and I would think asking why your offer wasn't good enough may have been viewed as a little rude.
I don't buy a lot from them...maybe 4 or 5 things over the past few years.
Got my 3 spoke airbag for $200, which was a steal.
