I was deciding between a similar year (ie. older Carrera) or the Boxster S. I wanted a convertible and the Boxster looked better as a convertible than the Carrera .... I also thought that I may be less likely to kill myself in some 'envelope pushing' maneuver in the Boxster S versus the Carrera
