If it sputters, the electrical is good. If it dies hot / sputters, and does not start cold, the Crank Position Sensor is greater than 50/50 good. A Bad MAF is not completely out of the running, but not likely. It appears your looking at fuel delivery. I'd chase down those leads. Merry Christmas.
