No need to worry about this. If gas goes too high, paying your chevron card will be the least of your worries.
A boxster is not an economy car either, for 21mpg(my obc avg) it only carries two people. The Cayenne carries 5 at 16mpg avg. The cayenne is a freaking Prius in comparison.
