This could be related to a bad ignition switch,it can cause ALL kinds of electrical problems across the board. Audi and VW dealerships carry the specific part for under $30,Porsche sells the whole assembly for muy $$$. From what I remember it should only take 1-1.5 hours labor,a semi-easy D.I.Y.
